Sunderban Tiger Camp Hotel - Gosaba

Had Christmas in a resort around Sunderbans and it was great to be surrounded by nature. The cottages were cozy and we had a pleasant stay. The food was good and there were enough options for non-vegetarians like me. The staff was friendly and helpful too which added to the overall experience. One of the best things was the bonfire that we had on Christmas night. It was really chilly and sitting by the fire with hot cocoa felt amazing.

There were a few things that could have been better. the location was quite isolated and it was difficult to get around without a vehicle.

the room I stayed in was well-maintained and clean, with aircon and tea/coffee making facilities. the food was simple but delicious, and the organised boat trips were enjoyable, with sightings of wildlife including monkeys, deer, and crocodiles.

I did notice the lack of communication about the departure time, which caused some inconvenience.

The meals were tasty and varied, with a good variety of food. The staff was friendly and helpful, attending to our requests promptly.

Can't fault the hotel.

We particularly enjoyed the boat rides, which were both fascinating and exhilarating. the food was absolutely delicious and varied, catering to all our dietary needs. We also appreciated the wake-up calls for meal times - it was a charming touch that added to the overall experience.

we noticed that the bus seats weren't allocated in advance, which could be problematic for larger groups or elderly travelers.

The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating, always a few minutes away from granting my every request. The location was perfect for wildlife lovers like me, with plenty of activities arranged by the manager. the cleanliness of the hotel and the variety of food served during breakfast were great.

There was nothing I didn't like.
